YNG NGHEREDIGION with RAFE FITZPATRICK, PLUMLUMON 70, & SOUND OF YELL October 30th 2015, 8pm, Small World Theatre, Cardigan
Through film, live music, and story, Yng Ngheredigion celebrates violinist Rafe Fitzpatrick’s connection with his native Ceredigion. From chapels to raves, Mynydd Bach to Cantre Gwaelod, fairy realms and old mines, the essence of the region delivers expression to Rafe’s innovative composition and experimental sounds, with words from myself, a childhood friend (and once fellow band member) of Rafe!
Live music will be performed by the Glasgow four piece Pumlumon 70 (violin, guitar, double bass/ moog and drums) and there’ll be a special performance by Stevie Jones and Rafe as Sound of Yell.
